Comox Valley Presbyterian Church was established in 1995 and moved into its present building in 2001. Its founding minister, The Rev. D’Arcy Lade, worked diligently for 10 years establishing the congregation until his untimely death in 2005. The Rev. Ted Hicks served as minister from 2007 until 2011, bringing gentle, thoughtful leadership. The Rev. John Green served as Interim Moderator until our new minister arrived in January, 2014. We were fortunate to have The Rev. Charles Scott (retired) to help out in many areas of ministry from time to time as well as so many gifted and dedicated lay members who have filled many functions during the two years between ministers.
